I've written extensively about this new mode here.Ĭall of Duty: World War II Credit: Activision My favorite new addition to the multiplayer is War Mode, an objective based attack and defend mode that's easily the most fun I've had with Call Of Duty in years. Note, due to constant updates and fixes some of these may be dated, though the general shortage of multiplayer maps in both standard and War Mode is a problem that I don't see changing without buying DLC, unless miraculously Activision and Sledgehammer break all precedent and release some free maps (which they should do, of course.) I've also listed out some of my biggest problems with multiplayer, which you can read here. The short version is that I really enjoyed it despite unwelcome changes like non-regenerating health and some AI issues. I covered the game's campaign in-depth already, and you can read my review of that here. All three platforms offer a similar experience, though I do like being able to play with mouse-and-keyboard on PC.
