Nowadays Windows does not use the FAT system any longer. Since it is required today to move and copy files with large size, Windows has come with an idea of a file system improvement. However, the FAT32 era has come to a pass and the Windows file system is now replaced by the new one. In addition to that, FAT32 also includes supports for EIDE hard drive size which can be larger than 2 GB. The file system storing is called FAT32 which provides a default cluster size as small as 4KB. Afterward, an updated FAT system has long been used on Windows 95 OSR2, Windows 98, and Windows Me. Long ago, Windows used a FAT file system on its hard drive.
